Created levels have the potential to be shared to encourage other gamers to continue Geometry Dash past level 20.
Aside from a progress bar at the top of the screen, there’s a fail counter that shows how many times you’ve had to restart the level. This was intentional on the part of the game’s creators, who appear to have quite the sense of humor. Each level will also be decorated in such a way that players may get distracted, causing them to crash and start the level over.
Players wishing to get the hang of the controls and gameplay before starting levels can use Practice Mode. Instead of having to make it all the way through to complete it, Practice Mode has a series of checkpoints set up to save players’ progress. Actually Geometry Dash World is a preview for Android and Apple of the next update (2.1) of the original game. It features a Super Mario-style division of the levels: 10 new levels, divided into two worlds of 5 levels each.
